The Trafalgar Tavern is a quintessential riverside pub in the heart of Greenwich offering premium British dishes and versatile event spaces for any occasion.
Food Menu
I refined the previous menu layout by researching the science behind effective menu design and aligning it with the pub's needs. For instance, I created clear divisions to make the menu readable and strategically highlighted certain areas to draw attention to key items.

The menu redesign was highly successful, leading to a significant increase in sales and enhancing the overall dining experience. The new layout made it easier for staff to read, memorise, and recommend dishes, improving service efficiency. Additionally, the redesign contributed to a more polished and cohesive brand image, elevating customers' positive perception of the Trafalgar Tavern as a premium dining destination.
Promotional Posters
I enjoy finding fresh, modern approaches to keep things exciting for recurring annual events. I hand illustrate each poster with watercolour and line work, then finalise the design in Illustrator, adding text to complete the look.

Each poster follows a consistent style to ensure cohesive branding for the Trafalgar Tavern.

Table Talkers
I decided to improve the previous design by applying our branding guidelines, and other improvements, to ensure consistency throughout all design and marketing materials.
Clear and easy-to-read headings and sub-headings, with white space to keep the design elegant, and CTA sections for easy bookings or more information.

The table talkers are highly effective in promoting events like quiz nights and lectures, resulting in increased event sales. By highlighting upcoming activities, they not only made the pub more memorable for customers but also contributed to a boost in overall revenue, creating a stronger connection between the pub and its patrons.
Social Media Graphics
I design and hand-draw all graphics for social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms, creating visuals that don’t just blend in but stand out. The challenge is always to make someone stop scrolling, notice, and engage. Bold, eye-catching, and on-brand, every piece is crafted to connect.

Photoshoots & Photo Editing
Part of my job is to organise photoshoots, whether it's for a new menu launch, an event, the interior, or the environment of the pub and restaurant. I make mood boards, take photos and video content, then I edit them in Lightroom and Photoshop (for photo manipulation or airbrushing).

These photographs are then used for a variety of purposes: social media, print and digital marketing materials, email to clients, etc.

Event Brochure
The Event Brochure is designed to provide all the information about our event spaces and menus in one place.
The brochure has a square shape that's big enough to show the spaces clearly, but still easy to carry around.
It has a simple, effective design, with plenty of white space to make it easy to read and give our customers a great experience.

Illustrations
Illustration is one of my favorite ways to bring a design to life. Whether for print or digital media, illustrations captivate the audience’s attention and often convey the message without the need for words.
Each piece is hand-drawn, sometimes with pen and paper, other times using my drawing tablet.
I draw inspiration from the world around me, from the places I visit to the small details that catch my eye
